USTA Caribbean returned with a vengeance after finishing fourth in 2009 to take the 2010 title.

Ponce, Puerto Rico will welcome home a championship team.
As the 2010 14U Junior Team Tennis National Championships come to an end we look back on a successful tournament and thank the teams, coaches, fans, staff members and everyone else who helped make this tournament an event to remember. The journey began with over 6,000 clubs trying to make it to Surprise, but only a handful made it to the desert.

The 2010 Jr. Team Tennis 14U Championships brought together the top 16 teams at the 14U Advanced level as well as the top 16 teams at the 14U Intermediate level from various USTA Sections throughout the country.
The Fridley team from Lino Lakes, MN, representing the USTA Northern section, today captured the National Championship title by defeating the LTC World Class from Albuquerque, NM and the USTA Southwest section, 38-16.
At the semifinals match, taking place earlier in the day, the Head Hunters from Pittsburgh, PA representing the Middle States section defeated the Southern sections Georgia-Bhole from Athens, GA with a score of 37-14.
The New Jersey - Warren/Edison team, representing the Eastern section, fell short of victory during the Intermediate Championship match, losing to a tough La Rambla team from the Caribbean Section by a score of 27-24.
Earlier in the day at the Semifinals, Georgia-McElhannon representing the Southern section defeated the NETT Tennis Soldiers from the Texas section by a score of 31-25.
With the winners announced and the Surprise Tennis & Racquet complex cleaning up from the day, the 32 talented teams leave this year’s JTT National Championships with new friends, new memories and the motivation to return next year.
