Tennis champion John McEnroe recently spent time talking with New York Times sports editor Jason Stallman to mark the start of the Emirates Airline US Open Series and the countdown to the 2013 US Open. McEnroe’s eight US Open titles (four singles, four doubles) are tied with Bob Bryan for the most by any man in the Open Era. He also won three Wimbledon singles titles and helped the United States to five Davis Cup championships.
