World class tennis right from the start at the Western & Southern Open on Tuesday! It all happens with 41, yes, 41 matches throughout the day on the busiest day of the tournament. We start with wild card Venus Williams opening on Center Court against Maria Kirilenko, and it just gets better from there: Roddick, Fish, Serena, all featured in a busy day of action.
But that’s not all, as on the grandstand Tommy Haas opens action against David Nalbandian, then it’s wild card Sam Querry against Jurgen Melzer. Sam Stosur wraps up the afternoon session on the grandstand courts before giving way to the night session featuring Richard Gasquet against Milos Raonic.
If you’re looking for autographs, former world Number One Caroline Wozniacki will be signing at the Western & Southern Experience at 12:45 p.m. A limited number will be able to get autographs, so make sure you get in line early for your number.
Speaking of Caroline, she had a special guest at the Tuesday morning practice. Newly-minted PGA Champion Rory McIlroy returned to Cincinnati to watch some tennis this week, as you can see by the photo. It’s a busy day of tennis at the Lindner Family Tennis Center for the Western & Southern Open!
