Doubles Finals Set for Sunday

The men’s and women’s doubles finals have been set and the London silver medalists Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka headline a talented crew into the mix of teams bidding for their first Cincinnati crowns.
For the women, Hlavackova and Hradecka, the No. 5 seeds, are attempting to continue their stellar summer, coming off a runner-up showing at Wimbledon and the Olympics. In both matches, they succumbed to Serena and Venus Williams in straight years.
This year, the 2011 Roland Garros champions have won titles at Auckland and Memphis. In the semifinals in Cincinnati, they beat Darija Jurak and Katalin Marosi in a match tiebreaker, 4-6, 7-5, 10-8.
Their opponents in the final are Zheng Jie and Katarina Srebotnik, who are into the first championship of their partnership. To get to finals Sunday, the No. 8 seeds took out Nuria Llagostera Vives and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 6-4, 6-3 in the semis.
For the men, the No. 2 seeds and recent London gold medalists Bob and Mike Bryan bowed out to three-time Wimbledon runners-up Horia Tecau and Robert Lindstedt. They won 7-5, 6-7(5), 10-2 in just over 90 minutes, striking 17 aces to five for the Bryans to advance.
This year, Tecau and Lindstedt have taken titles in Bucharest, 's-Hertogenbosch, and Bastad.
Their opponents in the final are Mahesh Bhupathi, who won the Cincinnati title twice with partner at the time Leander Paes, and Rohan Bopanna. Together, the team of Bhupathi and Bopanna won in Dubai earlier this year.
