Around The Grounds: Finals Weekend

The finals of the Western & Southern Open mean another big crowd at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.

With a record crowd on hand on Friday, expect this weekend to be a busy one here on the grounds. So here are some tips to make sure you have a great experience: First, come early and give yourself plenty of time to get your car parked and enter the grounds. Gates open on Sunday three hours before the 12:30 p.m. men’s singles final. Coming early gives you a chance to wander around the enlarged food court or do a little shopping while you’re here.

Second, wander over to the Champions Balcony on the north side of the Player Center after the finals matches to celebrate with the new Western & Southern Open champions. It’s a new tradition this year, where the champions will come to the balcony and celebrate with their fans. It’s a great place for you to get a keepsake photograph of the winners!

Third, whether it’s the men’s or women’s final, or the doubles finals, give all our world-class players a nice round of applause. It’s a terrific way to show our appreciation for having them here, and a great way to send them off as they continue the hardcourt season right up to the US Open. It should be an exciting couple of days here at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
