Kids and parents are finding their best look for play at the merchandise tent.
Amidst the homemade uniforms and the handmade signs, you'll find that those wandering around the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex are often found sporting brand-new 2010 USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Championships merchandise on their way to and from the court.

ChampionshipMerch.com is the official merchandise vendor for the National Championships, working hand-in-hand with USTA Jr. Team Tennis to deliver fashionable t-shirts, hats, jackets and more to outfit the event in Arizona - and much like the city of Surprise, this is the first year in which ChampionshipMerch.com has played host to the tournament.

"Its exciting here," said David Loomis, vendor for ChampionshipMerch.com. "At what's turning out to be such a fun tennis event, we're tremendously proud that we have to opportunity to provide our quality products to people of all ages."

With their tent located prominently across from the main clubhouse, families weave in and out, trying to find their favorite 2010 look. Many of the products feature the brand new 2010 national logo, in addition to some traditional USTA "shield" items that have been favorites for years.

"The merchandise efforts you see in 2010 grew out of an overwhelming amount of requests from players and parents to have cool memorabilia to commemorate the event," said Adrienne DiMenna, USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Coordinator. "It was a natural - these folks are pumped to be here and want to wear it if they can."

The most popular item so far?

"The performance warmup, quarter-zip - no question," said Loomis.

Starting in 2008, sales have improved and selection has expanded each year. New for this year is baby/toddler wear and official event towels, both being a big hit so far amongst customers.

"I think at the core this is a family event where different generations come out if not to play, then to support - so having a catalog that matches was important to all involved," said Loomis.

Whole families in particular are incredibly supportive of their kids here. Much like what you would see with bumper stickers proclaiming 'my son or daughter is an honor student,' the same sort of pride applies with Jr. Team Tennis. There's something for everyone in the family."

If you can't be here in Arizona, fear not - you can get all your 2010 National Championship gear at
