Djokovic clinches win for Serbia at Hopman Cup

PERTH, Australia (AP) - Novak Djokovic clinched a series victory for Serbia against Kazakhstan at the Hopman Cup on Sunday, rallying to beat Andrey Golubev 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 for an insurmountable 2-0 lead.
 

Golubev broke in the ninth game to win the first set against a sluggish Djokovic. But the Serb found his stride in the second, taking a 5-2 lead before racing through the decider.

Earlier, Ana Ivanovic beat Yaroslava Shvedova 7-6 (6), 6-1 in the women's singles match. The mixed doubles match was scheduled for later Sunday.
