The 2011 Kid’s Casting Call presented by Skyline Chili was the most successful ever held in Cincinnati. Nearly 100 of Cincy’s most talented tots showcased their voices on Friday, June 24 at Fountain Square downtown. 

 

Children ages 7-12 took to the stage to sing one stanza of America the Beautiful or God Bless America. The top performers will earn a spot to sing at the 2011 Western & Southern Open, August 13-21 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center. Winners will be notified in the coming weeks if they are chosen.

 

Not even the rain could spoil the excitement as kids and parents alike participated in Quickstart Tennis, enjoyed lunch at Skyline Chili, and registered for prizes provided by the tournaments’ title sponsor, Western & Southern Financial Group. Celebrity judges included stars and personalities from area television and radio outlets.
