MASON, Ohio - The current World No. 1, a reigning Grand Slam champion and a Williams will highlight the action on Tuesday at the Western & Southern Financial Group Women's Open.


Dinari Safina
, who has held the No. 1 ranking since April 20 and has appeared in the finals of three of the last six Grand Slams, will make her Cincinnati debut in the second match on Center Court when she plays Italian Roberta Vinci.

The reigning French Open champion, Svetlana Kuznetsova, will take the court next to play Lucie Safarova.

Kim Clijsters
will be back in action Tuesday, closing the day session with her doubles match as she pairs with countrywoman Yanina Wickmayer to play an American duo, Melanie Oudin and Shenay Perry.

Daniela Hantuchova, a semifinalist in Cincinnati in 2005, will start the day at 11 a.m. on Center Court against Sara Errani.

The night session will begin at 7 p.m. with third seed Venus Williams making her Cincinnati debut against qualifier Olga Govortsova.

Play begins on four courts at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, with the remaining 12 first round singles matches and three second round singles matches being played. The remainder of the second round singles matches will be played Wednesday.

Five doubles matches will also be contested on Tuesday.
