MASON – The remaining 13 second round singles matches will be contested on Wednesday at the 2009 Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open.

The day session kicks off the No. 5 seed Jelena Jankovic, last year’s US Open finalist, taking on Russian Maria Kirilenko.

Second match on Center Court will feature the 2005 US Open champion Kim Clijsters, who is back in tennis for the first time since 2007, against 2005 Cincinnati champion Patty Schnyder.

The fourth seed and 2008 Olympic gold medalist Elena Dementieva will make her Cincinnati debut against Belgium’s Yanina Wickmayer in the last singles match of the day session on Center Court.

Three of the Top 11 players in the world will be playing on the Grandstand Court on Wednesday, including 2006 Cincinnati champion and No. 7 seed Vera Zvonareva, the eighth seed Caroline Woznianki and No. 11 seed and 2008 French Open champion Ana Ivanovic.

Six more singles matches will be shared between Court 3 and Court 4, and headlining that action is an 11 a.m. match between 2007 Cincinnati champion Anna Chakvetadze against No. 9 seed Victoria Azarenka.

Tickets are still available for both Wednesday sessions.
