MASON – Five players who have spent time in the Top 10 in their career and nine Americans are in the qualifying draw for the 2009 Western & Southern Financial Group Masters.

(No. 8) will have to win a pair of qualifying matches in order to get into the main draw that begins Monday.
The American contingent in the draw includes Rajeev Ram
, who won his first career title earlier this summer in Newport, Jesse Levine
, who reached the third round at Wimbledon this year, and Devin Britton
, who won the 2009 NCAA singles championship this past spring while playing for Mississippi.
The 28 players will play a two round tournament with seven players advancing into the main draw.
