Buying a tennis ticket can be confusing. To de-confuse the process, we've summed up the most popular questions that our fans ask when buying tickets. Read up and before you know it, you'll know how to get in the front row of each court.
Where does my ticket get me?
One ticket gives you access to all 16 courts. When you purchase a ticket, that ticket grants you an assigned seat within Center Court for the matches during that session. That same ticket allows you to enter any of the other 7 match courts and the rest of the entire grounds including the practice courts.
Each match court outside of Center Court has first come first serve seating where you can sit close to the action, sometimes in the first row with some luck and planning. Once all the center court seats have been sold, grounds passes will be available that grant the fan access to all outer courts but not center court.
What if I'm not a tennis "fanatic"?
Yes, this is a tennis tournament. But there's so much more to the event than just tennis. Many patrons spend more time off the court than they do watching tennis. The expansive grounds include destination bars like the Corona Beach House, Mondavi Wine Garden, Moet Champage Bar and the Vodka Lounge. The food court is a "Taste of Cincinnati" with some of the best restaurants from the area's lively food scene. More than 30 bands play all week on the main stage. And don't miss the shopping - from jewelry to apparel and everything in between. It's really the must-attend event of the summer.
What is a session?
Most days (excluding Saturday 8/10 and finals Sunday 8/18) have a day session and a night session. Day session matches typically begin at 11 am and night session matches begin at 7pm. You may enter the grounds up to 2 hours before the start of the first match of the session. If you attend for the day session, and decide that the tennis is so good you'd like to stay for the evening session, you must have an evening session ticket as they will be checked upon entering night session match courts.
Where will I be sitting?
If you are purchasing tickets for a single session or a few different sessions, your tickets will be located in the terrace section of center court. While the terrace section is the upper area of the stadium, there are only 35 rows from the court to the top of the stadium, so there's not a bad seat in the house. To get a better view, check out full series packages or inquire about our box seats (all sold on an all-week basis).
Where can I sit in shade?
There are a limited number of seats in the terrace section under a shade canopy. Our Pavilion section is also sold on a single session basis and offers seats with backs covered by the giant, architecturally significant roof. For an even better view, our Overlook Boxes and Broadcast Boxes are shaded, offer end court view and special perks for box seat holders.
How do I know when a specific player is playing?
We never know exactly when the stars will be playing until the draw is made the Friday prior to the event. Once the draw is made, the day schedule is determined each night prior and is released to the tournament and fans in the late afternoon or evening for the following day. If you're looking for advice on how to catch your favorite star, just give us a call and we'll try to help.
