By now we hope you have had the chance to come out to the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason to see some of the early action at the Western & Southern Open. Main draw singles play starts late Sunday afternoon, and in the night session former Western & Southern Open finalist James Blake will play Kevin Anderson.
Saturday’s play brought out the second-highest single session attendance in the tournament’s history, with more than 12,900 fans coming to Mason (the record is 13,204 from 2011) to enjoy the tournament, the shopping and the expanded food court.
And don’t worry about missing any of the action while you’re at the food court: Big screens are located just to the north of the court so you can follow your favorite players. If you’re between matches and just want to relax, we’ve programmed the entertainment stage at the food court throughout the week. Here’s a clip from Marmalade Brigade’s performance: http://youtu.be/iR4SJMGWNu4
Want to see who’s playing the rest of the tournament? Check the entertainment schedule under the Fan Guide
. And we hope to see you here!
